Day 22 Prayers
1.Praise God
A Forgiving God: I want to bless You with praise, Father, because You are a forgiving God, gracious, and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in Love. Neh. 9:17 They refused to listen and failed to remember the miracles you performed among them. They became stiff-necked and, in their rebellion, appointed a leader in order to return to their slavery. But you are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. 2. Personal Prayers from Colossians
Holy Spirit fill me with Your peace and let Your peace rule my heart. Col. 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
3. Biblical Virtues to Pray for your Children and Grandchildren
Contentment: Lord please show the children of this generation the value of being content with what they have. Help them learn, as Paul did, that knowing You and trusting You is the secret to contentment and that they can only achieve this contentment through You. Phil. 4:12-13 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
4. Spiritual Dynamics for Teens
Integrity: Father please teach the youth of this generation the value of integrity in both their physical and spiritual lives. Help them to choose to do right and to forgive and grace to those around them who choose to do wrong. Rom 12:17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.
5. Pray for Our Pastor
Jesus You called us to unity. Please help the pastors of this city walk in the unity of the believers in the bond of Christ. Eph. 4:3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Eph.4:13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
6. Pray for Our Church
Oh God, I lift up the various ministries in this church. I ask Lord the Your will be discerned clearly and that each ministry flourish according to Your plan. Is. 48:17 This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.
7. Prayers for Public Schools
Sexual Purity: God Almighty I plead, in the Name of Jesus, that the students in this school will grow up honoring their sexuality and committing to sexual abstinence until marriage. Pour out on them the strength and grace they need to live out this commitment. 1Thes. 4:3-5 It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; 4 that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, 5 not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God;
8. Pray for People in Authority
Lord, the authorities in our nation are in place by Your design. Lord Save them, teach them Your ways and give them the desire for honesty, integrity, and loyalty. Ps. 26 Vindicate me, Lord, for I have led a blameless life; I have trusted in the Lord and have not faltered. Test me, Lord, and try me, examine my heart and my mind; for I have always been mindful of your unfailing love and have lived in reliance on your faithfulness. I do not sit with the deceitful, nor do I associate with hypocrites. I abhor the assembly of evildoers and refuse to sit with the wicked. I wash my hands in innocence, and go about your altar, Lord, proclaiming aloud your praise and telling of all your wonderful deeds. Lord, I love the house where you live, the place where your glory dwells. Do not take away my soul along with sinners, my life with those who are bloodthirsty, in whose hands are wicked schemes, whose right hands are full of bribes. I lead a blameless life; deliver me and be merciful to me. My feet stand on level ground; in the great congregation I will praise the Lord.
9. Prayers That Birth Revival
2Chron. 7:14 “If my people … and will humble themselves and will pray and seek my face AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS …” Holy Spirit motivate God’s people to meditate on the Word of God so that they may keep pure and free from sin allowing the God of heaven to conform them into the image of Christ. Rom. 8:29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
10. Prayer for Marriages
Jesus, I ask You to move in the marriages in the church/neighborhood and bring these couple into complete harmony. Help them to learn mutual submission and to seek to have the attitude of Christ. Matt 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
11. Prayer for America
Lord call all exhausted laborers in our land to yourself. Save them, Jesus and give them rest for their souls for Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light. Comfort and Save those in jail and in prison. Matt. 11:18-30 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon.’ 19 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’ But wisdom is proved right by her deeds.”….
12. Prayers to Bless Israel
God Almighty, please bring about a radical change in the Israeli system of government, so that divisiveness and partnership would give way to unity and cooperation. Please grant wisdom to all members of Knesset and Israel’s Supreme Court.
