Day 20 Prayer
1. Praise God
The God of All Comfort: Praise be to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort. 2 Cor. 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort.
2. Personal Prayers from Colossians
Father, fill my heart with forgiveness for every person who will ever hurt me. Stir my mind to always remember that you have forgiven me for every sin I have ever committed and ever will commit. Thank You, Lord Jesus for the gift of forgiveness. Col. 3:13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Compassion: Lord Jesus, please fill my children with the virtue of compassion Col. 3:12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Denial: Father God, we pray that you will move our teenagers to surrender their own will and follow God’s will. Luke 9:23 Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.

Lord, I lift up this pastor and pray for joy, peace and victory in the ministry. In spite of the difficulties he faces daily from time pressure, disputes, coordination of all the events and the wants and needs of the congregants and the community. Be his ever-present strength, Lord. 2Cor. 1:9-13 9 Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. 10 He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, 11 as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.
6. Pray for Our Church
Father God come be a father to the fatherless. I lift up the single parents and their children in this congregation. Use your body – this church – to help them and give them hope. Heb 6:19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain,
7. Prayers for Public Schools
Forces of evil: “in the name of Jesus, I pray that all spiritual forces that would deceive the minds of children and staff of this school into practicing any type of occult worship, witchcraft, divination or false religion would be rendered powerless. Is. 8:19-20 When someone tells you to consult mediums and spiritualists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead-on behalf of the living? 20 Consult God’s instruction and the testimony of warning. If anyone does not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn. Mic. 5:12 I will destroy your witchcraft and you will no longer cast spells.
8. Pray for People in Authority
Almighty God, I pray that all in authority would be generous and have compassionate hearts to see the need of the poor. Please, Holy Spirit give them workable solutions to help them. Luke 10:33-37 33 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35 The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’
9. Prayers That Birth Revival
2Chron. 7:14 “If my people … and will humble themselves and will pray and “SEEK MY FACE…” Lord help each believer seek Your face versus Your hand. Each Lord that our chief concern must be Your approval versus Your blessing. Help us to place our attention and our desires on pleasing You. Prov. 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
10. Prayer for Marriages
Jesus You gave us marriage as an example of our relationship with You. Please grant each spouse a rich and growing relationship with You. Let them prayerfully and graciously help each other grow into a deeper richer relationship with You and with each other. Rom. 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
11. Prayer for America
Creator God I seek you for the cities of this country. Racism, hatred, fear, poverty, distrust of authority, gang violence, addiction, lawlessness and godlessness are destroying inner cities all over this nation. Father You are the Creator God of the universe, create in these cities, communities of faith, hope, safety, and prosperity. Save heal those caught in cycles of poverty, sickness, addiction, brokenness and despair. Is. 58:12 Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.
12. Prayers to Bless Israel
Father I lift to You the Middle East and plead with you, Lord that the spiritual forces evil, such as humanism, territorial-ism and authoritarianism that dominate that area will be broken and rendered powerless. Oh Lord please replace them with honest godly values where Christ Followers are free to live and share the gospel.
