DAY 15 PRAYERS
1.Praise God
A provider God: I praise You today, Lord, as Jehovah-Jireh (the Lord will Provide), who makes all grace abound in me generously and provides all I need. 2Cor. 9:8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
2. Personal Prayers from Colossians
Help me focus my thoughts on Your purposes and not on worldly situations. Col 3:2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
3. Biblical Virtues to Pray for your Children and Grandchildren
Generosity: Grant that my children may be generous and willing to share, and lay-up treasures for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age. 1Tim. 6:18-19 Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.
4. Spiritual Dynamics for Teens
Tenderness: Pray for a willingness to weep and repent over sin. 2Kings 22:19 Because your heart was responsive and you humbled yourself before the Lord when you heard what I have spoken against this place and its people—that they would become a curse and be laid waste—and because you tore your robes and wept in my presence, I also have heard you, declares the Lord.
5. Pray for Our Pastor
Pray that our pastors put on Spiritual armor daily so that they may be able to recognize Spiritual warfare issues. That he would know the reality of his identity in Christ through his Salvation, apply Faith to what he believes by the power of the Holy Spirit, govern his life by the truth of God’s Word, live Righteously by the direction of the Holy Spirit, walk in the Peace of the gospel, defeat the enemy with the Sword of the Spirit – God’s personal word to him. Eph. 6:10-17
6. Pray for Our Church
Pray for believers to learn how to handle finances, to be good stewards of their resources, and to be content with what they have. Pray for their needs to be met. Phil. 4:11, 19 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. Luke 16:13 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”
7. Prayers for Public Schools
Failing Students: Lord, I ask You to encourage those students with their studies. Strengthen their minds. Help their teachers and parents know how to help them learn. Protect them from feelings of worthlessness and shame. 1Thes. 5:14 And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone.
8. Pray for People in Authority
Pray that government officials and staff would be timely, reliable, and dependable. Mt. 21:28-31 “What do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard.’ “I will not,’ he answered, but later he changed his mind and went. “Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I will, sir,’ but he did not go. Which of the two did what his father wanted?” “The first,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.
9. Prayers That Birth Revival
“IF MY PEOPLE Will Humble Themselves and Pray” 2Chron. 7:14 And Seek My Face
Pray that mature Christians will set a pattern of seeking the Lord in all things, so that less mature Christians and younger generations may find their strength and hope in the Lord, especially in times of crisis. Ps. 27 & 91 and Acts 17:26-27 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.
10. Prayer for Marriages
I pray for Your protection in marriages from evil influences and temptations that can pull us away from You and each other. James 4:7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 2Tim 4:18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
11. Prayer for America
Lord, we implore You to make our schools places where children can learn in physical, emotional, and spiritual safety. Give them godly teachers who encourage them and are dedicated to them, give them the support systems at home and at school that would enable them to achieve great things in Your Name. Luke 6:40 The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.
12. Prayers to Bless Israel
Father, in Your mercy vanquish the tremendously powerful religious spirits which dominate the whole territory – Jewish and Christian and others.
