DAY 14 PRAYERS
1.Praise God
A Giving God: all praise and honor be Yours, O God, because You are a generous God who did not even stop short of giving His own Son. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
2. Personal Prayers from Colossians
Lord, please teach me to keep seeking the things above, where Christ is seated at Your right hand. Col 3:1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
3. Biblical Virtues to Pray for your Children and Grandchildren
Kindness: Lord, may my children always be kind to each other and to everyone else. 1Thes. 5:15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.
4. Spiritual Dynamics for Teens
Compassion: Pray that their love for others will motivate them to act on their behalf whenever its needed. Mark 8:1-2 During those days another large crowd gathered. Since they had nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat.
5. Pray for Our Pastor
Pray that pastors will be able to keep a positive attitude and consciously seek to grow in the fruit of the Spirit Gal. 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, Eph. 4:23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds;
6. Pray for Our Church
Pray for spiritually seeking people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. Eph 4:12-13 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
7. Prayers for Public Schools
Rejected Students: “Lord come alongside those children who feel rejected by their peers and teachers or teachers. Plant people in their lives who will live love them unconditionally. In Your divine wisdom Lord, convict the students and the teachers who ostracize these children.” Is. 1:17 Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.
8. Pray for People in Authority
That they desire purity and avoid debauchery, pornography, perversion, and drunkenness. 1Cor. 6:9-20 …13You say, “Food for the stomach and the stomach for food, and God will destroy them both.” The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14 By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also….
9. Prayers That Birth Revival
“IF MY PEOPLE Will Humble Themselves and Pray” 2Chron. 7:14 Pray for a spirit of prayer to spread like a wildfire across our land and world until every church becomes a house of prayer, saturated with seasons and extended times of turning to the Lord. Phil 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Luke 18:1 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. Matt 21:13 “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’
10. Prayer for Marriages
I pray for peace in the home and maturity as we deal with disagreements.” Eph. 4:3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
11. Prayer for America
Lord, we pray that the unborn will be protected. We affirm their person-hood and we honor them as unborn citizens. Rescue them from the atrocity and violent death by abortion. Only You Father can lead us into a solution for this terrible epidemic against the unborn. Laws and protests haven’t worked. We cry out to You LORD for help. Ps. 72:12 For he will deliver the needy who cry out, 14 the afflicted who have no one to help. He will rescue them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in his sight.
12. Prayers to Bless Israel
We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for it to remain Israel’s undivided capital. Ps. 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure.
