DAY 10 PRAYERS
1. Praise God
A Patient, Persevering, God: Father, I praise You because You are patient with Your children, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 2Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
2. Personal Prayers from Colossians
Please knit my heart together in love with other believers in the body of Christ so that we my live in the full riches of complete understanding of the mysteries of our LORD. Col 2:2 My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ.
3. Biblical Virtues to Pray for your Children and Grandchildren
Biblical Self-esteem: Help my children develop a strong self-esteem that is rooted in the realization that they are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus. Eph 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
4. Spiritual Dynamics for Teens
Assurance: Pray they will draw near to God in full assurance of faith and hold unswerving to the hope they profess. Heb. 10:22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.
5. Pray for Our Pastor
Pray that others would encourage and minister to them. Philemon 7 Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the Lord’s people.
6. Pray for Our Church
Pray for unity in the church, freedom from dissension, and a spirit of humility and repentance. Eph. 4:3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
7. Prayers for Public Schools
Support Staff: “Father, may the social worker, psychologist, speech therapists, nurses, custodians, aides, and other professional support staff treat students with dignity and respect. May all their interventions be based on truth and not on human theories.” 1Cor. 1:19-21 For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.
8. Pray for People in Authority
That they respect authority and practice accountability. Rom. 13:1-7
9. Prayers That Birth Revival
“IF MY PEOPLE Will Humble Themselves and Pray” 2Chron. 7:14 Pray that urgency and fervency would characterize the prayers of God’s people. Isa. 64:9 Do not be angry beyond measure, Lord; do not remember our sins forever. Oh, look on us, we pray, for we are all your people.
10. Prayer for Marriages
Pray that married couples will respectfully discuss decisions, that affects both our lives. 1Peter 3:7-8 Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.
11. Prayer for America
We ask You, Lord, to refresh mothers in the honor of fulfilling the glory of motherhood. Strengthen them in grace, wisdom, and love in serving their husbands and children. Let mothers reflect your own love and nurturing nature. Prov. 31:25-26, 28 She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
12. Prayers to Bless Israel
Show Your loving kindness to Your people Israel and keep them as the apple of Your eye. Hide them under the shadow of your wings, from the wicked who oppress them, from their deadly enemies who surround them. Ps. 17:7-9 Show me the wonders of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes. Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings from the wicked who are out to destroy me, from my mortal enemies who surround me.
