DAY 8 PRAYERS
1. Praise God
A Merciful God: You are a gracious and merciful and I praise You for Your great mercy. Neh. 9:31 But in your great mercy you did not put an end to them or abandon them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.
2. Personal Prayers from Colossians
I pray that You will have first place in everything in my life. Col. 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
3. Biblical Virtues to Pray for your Children and Grandchildren
Mercy: May my children always be merciful, just as their Father is merciful. Luke 6:36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

Servant-hood: Pray they will not grow weary in doing good and take advantage of every opportunity. Gal. 6:9-10 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
5. Pray for Our Pastor
Pray for the pastor’s children that they have a good relationship with siblings, no resentment of ministry, and security in God’s love and their parent’s love for them. Proverbs 22:6 Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it.
6. Pray for Our Church
Pray that each believer will come to know the joy and blessings of tithing. Mal. 3:10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.
7. Prayers for Public Schools
Teachers Who Are Not Yet Believers: bring all the teachers in this school who do not yet know You into Your kingdom. Arrange divine appointments, that they may have a profound encounter with Your TRUTH. Rom. 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
8. Pray for People in Authority
That they value and regard the laws of God and the teachings of Jesus Christ. Ps. 19:7-11 The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb. By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward. Jn. 8:31-32 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
9. Prayers That Birth Revival

Pray that God’s people would unite in praying for all who are in authority, that we may lead quiet and peaceful lives in godliness and holiness. 1Tim. 2:1-4 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
10. Prayer for Marriages
Pray that husbands and wives will regularly in seeking Your will and purposes as well as Your presence and power to walk closely with You in mutual submission. Acts 1:14 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Eph. 5:21 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. 1Sam. 12:23 As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by failing to pray for you. And I will teach you the way that is good and right.
11. Prayer for America
Lord, return the state of marriage to a place of honor in our country. We praise You for sturdy marriages that model Your commitment to the Church. Let hope and healing now come to those marriages that are strained and breaking. Heb 13:4 Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.
12. Prayers to Bless Israel
The Lord will not forsake His people for His great name’s sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make Israel His people. Use us to help others understand Your plan for Israel and Your love for the Jewish people. 1Sam. 12:22 For the sake of his great name the Lord will not reject his people, because the Lord was pleased to make you his own.
