Day 3 Prayer
1. Praise God
Almighty God. O lord, God Almighty, who is like You? You are mighty, O Lord, and Your faithfulness surrounds You. Psalm 89:8 Who is like you, Lord God Almighty? You, Lord, are mighty, and your faithfulness surrounds you.
2. Personal Prayers from Colossians
Fill me with the knowledge of Your will in all areas of my life. Col 1:9 For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives.
3. Biblical Virtues to Pray for your Children and Grandchildren
Love: grant, Lord, that my children may learn to live a life of love, through the Spirit who dwells in them. Gal. 5:25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Eph. 5:2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
4. Spiritual Dynamics for Teens
Purity: pray for a desire to be clean and pure in heart. Matt. 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
5. Pray for Our Pastor
Pray for a deeper relationship with God and increased sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Eph. 3:16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being.
6. Pray for Our Church
Pray for the message to be anointed and for the congregation to receive the Word with understanding Eph. 1: 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people. Col. 4:4 Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.
7. Prayers for Public Schools
Peace: May the peace that surpasses all understanding rule in the hearts and minds of every student, teacher, administrator, and staff member in the school, who is in relationship with Jesus, influence all others in the school. Phil. 4:7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8. Pray for People in Authority
That all those in authority will be presented with the gospel and a loving Christian witness. Romans 10:14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
9. Prayers That Birth Revival
“IF MY PEOPLE….” 2chron. 7:14 “Will Humble Themselves” Pray that all believers will comprehend the value of humility: that God hears the cry of the humble and delivers them that it so better to be among the lowly than to share the wealth of the proud, and that God’s presence accompanies those who are of a contrite and humble spirit. Prov. 16: 19 Better to be lowly in spirit along with the oppressed than to share plunder with the proud. Is.57:15 For this is what the high and exalted One says— he who lives forever, whose name is holy: “I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.
10. Prayer for Marriages
I Pray that I make my relationship with You my top priority – over my marriage. You are my first love. Matt 22:37 Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
11. Prayer for America
Lord act in Your displeasure toward those who would strike terror into the earth. (Ezekiel 32:22-25) Root out and bring terrorists to justice. Please show mercy, expose the thwart terrorist schemes. Grant wisdom, discernment and protection to all in authority working to prevent terrorist attacks. Psalm. 7:11-16 God is a righteous judge, a God who displays his wrath every day. If he does not relent, he will sharpen his sword; he will bend and string his bow. He has prepared his deadly weapons; he makes ready his flaming arrows. Whoever is pregnant with evil conceives trouble and gives birth to disillusionment. Whoever digs a hole and scoops it out falls into the pit they have made. The trouble they cause recoils on them; their violence comes down on their own heads.
12. Prayers to Bless Israel
We pray for the current leaders in Israel, including the prime minister, the mayor of Jerusalem, and all those in military service. Raise up government leaders in Israel (and worldwide) who will not seek to “divide the land” and who would recognize the unique significance of Jerusalem in God’s end-time purposes.
