The Mission is Urgent and our Partnership is Crucial
It is vitally important that we as brothers and sisters in Christ work together in partnership to be more effective and sustainable in an ever changing world, so as to impact our community for Christ.
Let us lay a foundation for future outreach ministry that will transform a culture and leave a legacy as we develop an awareness of the importance of a Christ centered community that produces a mind-set that is intentionally seeking to make disciples and reaching the people in the community for Christ, regardless of the cost.
When relationships are formed in Biblical ways, for God’s glory and for His will to be accomplished, it stimulates a reaction around those individuals that creates growth and expansion where every member is willing to sacrifice for the mutuality of God’s purposes. This creates a synergy which yields a ministry that has fortitude among the members to extend throughout the community and state.
At Child Evangelism Fellowship our commitment is to the message of the gospel which will not waiver, even while meeting new challenges and opportunities in our changing world. Our commitment is not only to the gospel, but to train and equip others to be effective disciples that are able to impact the community for Christ. Here at CEF we understand that the gospel is the power unto salvation to everyone who believes and it is the gospel that will transform lives.
Our purpose and everything we do revolves around our purpose statement so that we are being effective and staying on point. Our purpose is:
- Evangelize the boys and girls with the gospel of Jesus Christ
- Disciple them in the Word of God
- Establish them in a local church for Christian growth and Christian living
Our Mission is more than simply providing a good service, it’s creating a mind-set and a life style that is lined up with God’s purpose for our life. We are called to deliver a message of design and destiny which brings hope and purpose to the lives of these children. It is a message that provides for these precious lost souls – too reclaim the purpose by which they were created – to reflect the image of their creator God.
Partnership is crucial to extending the kingdom of God and reclaiming our community as we work together to reach the communities through evangelistic outreach to children, which is our future. We understand that partnership is an effective way to see great numbers of children evangelized, established in the Word of God, and established in the local church.
Next blog will be part 2 of how partnership is crucial to this mission. I will define partnership and what that looks like practically.
