Through out the Bible we don’t see the word destined or destiny but we do see the word predestination, chose, choose, or chosen. In the Word of God Jesus tells us, “that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by the Father” (John 6:65). And “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent me draws him and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:44). So we do know that God draws people unto Himself and the reason I mentioned Destiny is because this was the name of young girl who God had brought to our 5 Day Club. This was no accident that this girl just moved into town and happened to go to the park that day (the only one who was not invited) with her grandfather and her sister. by His providential hand and through His eternal plan He brought this young girl into the kingdom of His glory. Her heart was ready to respond when she heard the message of salvation and repented toward God and placed her faith in Jesus Christ. We just happened to be the agents who delivered the message so that God by His Word and through His Spirit transformed the life of this young girl eternally by His grace – she was destined to be saved that day. Destiny is defined as this predetermined or preordained path for ones life – and we know that God was the one who brought this young girl into His kingdom for His glory and we were able to play a part in the path of this young girls life. All the praise, honor and glory be to God! These are some of the amazing things God is doing this summer through our 5 Day Club teams.
